Re-reading books

My dad and I were talking about re-reading books the other day.  He said he had never re-read a book.  I have re-read many books.  I definitely re-read favorites.  And I re-read books if the movie is coming out and it has been a while since the last reading.  A good example is that I have re-read every Harry Potter book before the release of the movies.  I like it to be fresh in my mind and gets me excited to see the film.  It is like seeing a movie more than once.  I have favorite movies that I have seen multiple times.  The Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice is a movie that I have seen many times.  God knows there are enough movies on TV that I will sit down and watch again if I catch them on.  I think I have seen the Goldie Hawn movie Overboard a dozen times.  Feel good movies.  Though I will admit I have seen the Shining a number of times too.  It is so creepily good!
