I keep reading about the crazy snow on the east coast. I am glad it doesn't snow here, not sure how the ride to work on the bike would be. The crazy winds were enough. The airport here has been closed more than it has been open the past 2 weeks. My flight out of JFK was cancelled not because of the snow falling in NYC but because of the winds in Bermuda.
The winter here has been terrible wind wise. So windy, in fact, that sailing was cancelled most weekends because the gale force winds would easily knock down the small 420s that we sail in. Riding the bike in the wind isn't fun, but then again my bike has been in the shop more than it has been out so I've been taking the bus anyway.
