It is crazy windy here. Windy enough that the ferries and buses were canceled today. Ferries make sense considering there are huge waves in the harbor, but buses? Yes, I did try to catch the bus this morning and waited for 20 minutes until a kind co-worker saw me and picked me up on his way to town.
My camera and its terrible battery are again out of commission. This camera's battery doesn't last a few days. It is terrible. I wish I could take some pictures of the white caps in the harbor and the palm trees that are completely wind swept. It is amazing. One of the party boats broke off its mooring and is washed up on Whites Island in the middle of the harbor.
All the flights are canceled today and the causeway between St. George and the rest of the island has been closed down. I heard that Watsford Bridge is also closed. It makes me chuckle because my company's board meeting is this week and it means that all those guys are stuck here.
