The North Face's Eat My Dust Running Skirt.
I bought this when I was in SF last week and I've already worn it twice. I know that some people are funny about wearing skirts when running but I don't mind. Maybe it is just a fad, but its a fad that I have jumped on the bandwagon for. As an avid field hockey and lacrosse player in high school where the uniform was a kilt - I am used to exercising in skirts.

No, this is not a picture of me and my friends from high school. It looks like early 80s to me by the look of the field hockey sticks but was close enough to the point.
The idea with the kilt was that running around with a skirt on was less hindering than shorts. I don't know if it makes that much of a difference but I like it and I like this running skirt. It fits well. Not too short and comfortable. I have a running skirt from lululemon and it is a bit short. But then again, all the running gear from lululemon seems to be rather short. No one needs to wear short shorts when running. Or better yet, there are only a small percentage of the female population who would still look okay after running in these short shorts after an hour or so. I am not one of those females.

Its $45 which is pricey but probably $10 less than lululemon. But sometimes I need something new and exciting to motivate me to keep running.
